You can however play catch if you want to play in the spacious dog area. But.... Do we want our kids playing a game of catch in dog droppings?
Come on Polk County.... You have been telling me for years now, long before the now 2 dog areas, that you are going to add baseball fields. Do it please! Or at least let kids play catch when there is an empty soccer field available.
Wow ... If you want to teach your kids how to throw a ball do not go here. For some reason people can run, jump, kick, hit, fall and roll all over the fields as long as they DO NOT have a baseball or softball with them.
Love this place. Love the hours. Love the fact that the dog park has two sides to it for big and small dogs. And it's huge!!!! So much room. I'm happy to have it ten minutes from me its completely worth it.
Awesome park. Gets busy on a weekend with sports competitions. Great walking trail. Just added equipment around trail to help with workout. Pet friendly too

This is a great park!! You can do all recreations here from taking the kids to the park, basket ball, tennis, football, dog park, boat ramp, bbq, party area rental etc. Every town should have a park like this!!
Great park to spend quality time with your kids and get in some exercise yourself. Not sure if lake permits gas motor boats or just electric motors. Sign on ramp shows a small boat with outboard motor on it, but doesn't mean they will allow gas motors there. Great place either way.
